Four years ago, I started the same way. When there was no Community. No one to ask for advice or tips or tricks. Since then, I've spent over 3,000 hours building Typeforms for clients and for my own business. Over 1,000 different Typeforms and a whole lot of integration with Google Sheets, Convertkit, etc.
From simple forms to complex lead generation quizzes that feed into complex email automations/sequences. From product recommendations to managing complex league-wide registrations, we've built solutions for clients, created cheat sheets and templates to address specific use cases (these are for sale, inquire if you are interested), launched a Typeform Tips & Tricks website and newsletter and have a series of courses and several books on Typeform coming out in 2024.

Over the past 4 years I have deeply engaged in extending quiz funnels to include email sequences for clients. Using the quizzes to segment the audience into the appropriate sequence (welcome, nurture, re-engagement, etc.) I spent hours developing skills in email writing and marketing. I've studied with a number of the big names in the email business - Ian Stanley, Derek Johanson, Brian Kurtz, Bill Mueller, Justin Goff to name a few. I've been part of a mastermind group with Ian Stanley for over two years.
I focus on helping businesses grow the revenue from their most strategic business asset - their mailing list. Getting more people onto the list and helping drive more revenue and profit from the list. Helping business owners get part of their life back - I'll write and manage the email marketing program and allow the business owner to spend more time doing the important things in life, like being with the family or just having fun.

John Desborough has 35+ years as a senior IT professional and management consultant with extensive experience across a number of industries and levels of government. Having spent many years helping organizations manage information and data effectively and efficiently, John understands what assets are strategic to a company's growth and how to leverage them for optimal growth.
In his consulting life, John worked with over 400 clients to undertake assessments of data quality health and maturity, data governance maturity and worked with clients to develop strategies and execution plans for their implementation. Over the past 4 years, using Typeform, he has developed a series of assessment and health check surveys for research and advisory purposes. One of these has seen over 1,750 companies complete in the last three years. Using a set of technologies that allow for the remote assessment/health check surveys to be completed, John has also undertaken to take those skills and extend what Desborough Consulting Group can provide to clients: assessments, quiz funnels, and forms-based solutions that can integrate into client ecosystems.
His current clients include vitamin/supplement companies, wineries, coaches, brick & mortar businesses, transportation & logistics firms, service businesses, etc.
